Thursday
High pressure across central and southern Europe brings settled weather to many areas, whilst low pressure to the north keeps Britain and Scandinavia windy and unsettled. Partly cloudy skies for Spain and Portugal, although some sunshine in the south, and feeling warm at 20C around the Algarve. Sunshine for northern Italy, but a few heavy showers around Sicily. Fair weather for Greece and Turkey, although a fresh breeze around the Greek islands. A weak cold front brings cloud to eastern Europe. Some sunshine across central Europe, whilst the north & west of France will see a lot of cloud. Breezy for the Netherlands and Denmark, also the Baltic region. Rain spreads across southern Scandinavia from the west, and is also persistent for western Norway. Intermittent rain for Finland, but temperatures quite mild at 7C.


Friday
Most of Spain and Portugal stays dry, but small risk of a shower in south-western areas. Fairly warm again. Sunshine for southern France and Italy. Risk of thundery rain developing for southern Greece. Scattered showers may advance toward Crete. The Alpine regions, Hungary and eastern Europe will be dry and bright, with a good amount of sunshine, although quite cool at 3 to 6C. Mild in western Europe, around 14C in western France. Cloudy, windy and outbreaks of rain for northern France, the Low Countries, also northern Germany and Denmark. Unsettled too for southern Sweden and the Baltic States. Drier in northern Sweden and Finland, but further rain or snow affects western Norway.
