Heavy rain for Turkey and Turkey, cold across central Europe

New Year's Eve
A fair day in Spain and Portugal to end 2014. Some showers for the Balearics and feeling cold here as well. Dry in northern Italy but cold, with some heavy showers in central and southern Italy. Unsettled in Greece, heavy rain here and some rain too for Turkey.
A cold day in France with sunshine and being mostly dry. Chilly too in the Low Countries and Germany, although some cloud and sleet in northern Poland. Fine, dry and cold for Austria, Switzerland and Hungary.
Fair in Denmark, although rather cloudy here. Some cloud and drizzle for the Baltic States, and some snow in Finland. Hazy sunshine but mostly dry for Sweden. Dry and bright for much of Norway, although showers in the west.

New Year's Day
Another fair day in Spain and Portugal. Lots of sunshine here and dry too. A few showers affecting eastern Italy, but the west should be staying dry with more sunshine here. Scattered heavy showers in Greece. Heavier rain in Turkey, especially in the south.
Frosty across France and Switzerland as well as Austria. There could be some freezing fog patches too, these slowly clearing to leave good spells of sunshine. Breezy with a few showers over the Low Countries and the far north of Germany. Cloudier in Poland, with some drizzle in the east.
Breezy with showery rain for Denmark. Breezy to in the Baltic States but dry here. Mostly dry through Finland, although some snow showers in the west later. Cloud and some showery snow across Sweden. Drier in Norway and fairly mild.
