Wet and windy western Europe, drier and milder in the east

Tuesday
Unsettled across west and southern Europe with low pressure in charge. Heavy rain and showers for Spain and Portugal. Extensive heavy rain through France. Heavy downpours for the western Mediterranean and Italy. Some rain may move into the southern Alps, but much of Austria should be dry. Breezy into mainland Greece with some patchy rain for the Balkan states.
Dry with sunshine for the Greek islands and much of Turkey as previous rain clears away eastwards. Plenty of dry and pleasantly warm weather across central and eastern Europe from Romania and Bulgaria to Hungary, Poland and Germany. A little rain may reach Belgium, whilst the Netherlands should stay dry.
Patchy rain in southern Norway, rather cloudy skies for Sweden, but a fair amount of dry weather. Quite mild with southeasterly breezes into the Baltic.

Wednesday
An unsettled and windy day across Portugal and much of Spain with some heavy periods of rain. Drier in the far east of Spain, some sunshine here and warm. Dry for the Balearics but showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Rain, some of it heavy across Italy. Greece and Turkey should be dry with sunny spells here.
Windy with some showers in western France, drier to the east and south. The Low Countries and northern Germany should be dry with sunny spells. Windy for Poland but dry here. Hungary should be dry and bright but some rain in western Austria. The rain becoming heavier for Switzerland.
Denmark will be dry and bright with sunny spells, Windy in Denmark with a few showers but mostly dry. Finland is likely to be dry with some sunny spells. Bright and breezy as well as dry and mild in Sweden. More unsettled in Norway with rain in the southwest, a few showers in the north.
