Drizzle and patchy rain in western Europe, fair in central areas

Thursday
Some showers and rain in southern Spain and southern Portugal on Thursday. Northern Portugal, central and northern Spain more likely to be drier and brighter. Fair in the Balearics and Italy with lots of sunshine and dry weather. Greece is sunny and dry again as well as western Turkey but some showers in the east.
France starts misty but this clears to dry weather and sunshine. More sunsshine to come in the Low Countries and northern Germany although some rain in central Germany, most of it patchy. Cloudy in patchy rain in northern Poland, fair for most of the country. Hungary will be dry and sunny, some outbreaks of rain afecting Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will have broken cloud and drier weather. The Baltic States will be cloudy and drizzle as will be Finland. Sweden will be damp in the east but fair for other areas with sunny spells. Winds and rain in western Norway but dry with broken cloud in other areas.

Friday
Dry for Spain and Portugal with sunny spells. A fair day too in the Balearics. Some rain in the far south of Italy but dry elsewhere with sunny spells. Some heavy showers in Greece, probably drier in the east. A few showers over Turkey, drier in the west.
Some rain in the far north of France. Drier for other areas with sunny spells. Cloud and rain across the Netherlands and northern Germany. Rain and cloud too in the far north of Poland. Other areas of Poland and Germany will be dry and sunny. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will be dry and bright.
Breezy and bright in Denmark. Cloud and rain as well as strong winds in the Baltic States as well as Finland. Brighter in Sweden and breezy with a few showers. heavier showers or longer spells of rain and widespread gales in western Norway.
