Dry and mild for the Mediterranean
Monday Fair for most of Spain and Portugal but some rain in the far northwest of Spain. A fine day too in the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry as well be most of central and northern Italy. Some showers affecting southern Italy. Greece should be mostly fair. A few showers in southern Turkey, fine in the north. Windy with heavy periods of rain passing through France and into the Low Countries. Windy in Germany and Poland, some heavy showers or longer spells of rain for Poland. Hungary should be bight and dry with sunny spells. Breezy in Switzerland with some sunshine. Patchy rain for Denmark. Cold in Finland but dry. Finland may have a few snow flurries. Some snow showers in the east of Sweden. Norway is likely to be chilly, some snow showers in the north.
Tuesday A frontal system sweeps into western Europe bringing rain to northwest Spain and northern Portugal, plus more very wet weather extending into central France. Southern Spain, the far south of France and the western Mediterranean stay dry with sunshine and quite warm. A few showers for coasts of Italy and the northern Adriatic. Local showers near Cyprus but Greece and western Turkey stay largely dry. Heavy rain moves into western Germany and the Low Countries, plus snow into Switzerland and western Austria. Drier toward Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Some showers for Poland and the Baltic states. High pressure over Scandinavia brings dry but very cold conditions for many areas, but some snow flurries affect the eastern side of Sweden. Local showers southwest Norway too.
