Thunderstorms extending through central Europe to Turkey


Wednesday
Showers in western Portugal and running along the northern coasts of Spain today. Fair for the rest of Iberia. Scattered heavy showers in central Italy but fair north and south. Heavy showers forming in northern Greece, fair to the south. Greece will have thundery showers throughout the day.
Showers over France, some of them heavy and thundery, especially in the north. Staying thundery in the Low Countries and in northwest Germany. Eastern and southern Germany drier with sunny spells. Heavy, thundery rain in central and eastern Poland. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will have thundery showers developing during the day.
Thundery showers developing over Denmark. The Baltic States will be dry with lots of sunshine. Remaining dry with more sunny spells in Finland. Showers in southern Sweden but dry and bright to the north. Norway will have a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers.

Thursday
Fair in Iberia with good spells of sunshine and feeling very warm too. Fine in the Balearics and through Italy with plenty of sunshine. Thunderstorms developing over inland Greece. Also thundery in Turkey with some torrential storms here.
Scattered showers in western and northern rance but some heavy thunderstorms forming in central and eastern France. Sunny spells and showers for the Low Countries. Heavy thunderstorms forming across much of Germany. Poland will have sunny spells and some thunderstorms too. Staying thundery across Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
Mostly fair for Denmark with reasonable spells of sunshine here. Some heavy bursts of showery rain in the Baltic States. Finland will have sunny spells and more isolated showers. Rain or showers in northern Sweden with more rain over Norway.
