Thundery rain affecting northwest Europe. Drier elsewhere.

Friday
Fair for Spain and Portugal on Friday, lots of sunshine here. There will be more sunshine across Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca. Corsica and Sardinia could see an odd passing showers but mainly dry here. A sunny and warm day for Italy. Greece and Turkey should both be dry with more sunshine here.
Further spells of sunshine in western France, although there will be a few showers in the east. The Low Countries should be dry with some sunshine. Bright in northern Germany but thundery rain in central and southern areas. Thundery showers in northern parts of Poland. Hungary should be dry with some sunshine whilst Austria and Switzerland will have thunderstorms, some of them being torrential.
Denmark will be dry with more sunny spells here. Showers in the Baltic States. Finland will have some sunny spells and again scattered showers here. Further showers in northern and eastern parts of Sweden with fair weather over western coasts of Norway, but showers in the east.

Saturday
Dry and fine for Portugal and largely dry for Spain although showers and thunderstorms look to develop in the far north. Dry and fine through the Balearic Islands, Italy, Corsica and Sardinia as well as Turkey. Thunderstorms affecting northern parts of Greece but drier elsewhere.
Rain across northern France in the morning will push southwards through the day, turning heavy and thundery for some. Rain pushing across the Low Countries too. Largely dry for Germany and Poland. Showers across Austria and Switzerland, some heavy and thundery. Largely dry for the Balkan States.
A few scattered showers about for Denmark and the Baltic States but mostly dry here. Showers across southern regions of Sweden, Norway and Finland but dry further north.
