Many parts of Europe turning largely dry and sunny at the weekend


Friday
A largely dry and hot Mediterranean with plenty of sunshine, though a few developing local thunderstorms are expected across Greece.
A dry and fine day through France and much fo the Low Countries. Rain and showers clearing Germany though stull cloud and some rain in the far northeast. Heavy rain moving in to west Poland. Showers clearing Switzerland but conintue to affect much of Austria through the day where they will be heavy and thundery.
A more unsettled day across Denmark with showers as well as longer spells of rain about. Similar conditions across Norway and Sweden. Largely dry through Finland and the northern Baltic States, though heavy rainfall pushing into southern states which will move in across northern areas overnight.


Saturday
A few scattered showers look likely to develop across northern and eastern regions of Spain today though it does look to be largely dry and fine while feeling hot in that sun elsewhere across the Mediterranean. A few clouds bubbling up across northern Greece bringing the risk of a few showers here later.
A largely dry and fine day across northern and central Europe as high pressure builds in, though a few developing showers cannot be ruled out across Switzerland. Eastern parts of Poland and Romania, though, will continue to see heavy rain and thunderstorms.
A drier and brighter day through Denmark and much of Sweden. Rain affecting parts of Norway with some rain through central Finland. Rain affecting the Baltic States for a time before clearing from the west.
