Staying dry with plenty of sunshine in much of the Mediterranean, cloud and rain in central and northern Europe


Thursday
Patchy rain over northwest Spain, fair to the south. Most of Spain will be fair again, more sunshine. Fine across the central mediterranean into Italy. Greece and Turkey should be dry with more sunshine, but a few showers in the east.
France has a wet and windy day in central and northern areas, drier to the south. Heavy showers follow to the west. Wet in the Low Countries, the rain heavy and spreading into Germany too. Poland should be dry with some sunshine, fair too in Austria and Hungary. Rain in Switzerland.
Fair at first in Denmark, but some rain here later. Sunny spells and dry over Sweden. Cloudier skies in the Baltic States with some spots of rain. Showers for Finland. Norway will have some wintry showers in central and northern Norway, dry to the south.


Friday
Fair over most of Portugal and Spain with lots of sunshine in most areas. Staying fair through the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Some fog in northern Italy at first, but this clearing. Heavy showers affecting the far south of Italy. Heavy showers in Greece and western Turkey. Drier in the east of Turkey.
Dry with sunshine over France and the Low Countries. Some showers in eastern Germany and Poland. Austria and Hungary will be fairly cloudy with a chance of some drizzle. The cloud being more broken in Switzerland.
Denmark will be bright with some sunny spells. Dry too in Sweden with further spells of sunshine. The Baltic States and Finland are also going to be bright and dry with some sunshine. Cloud increases in Norway bringing sleet and snow to the west later.
