Dry and fine weather spreading from western into central Europe; thundery showers eastern Med


Monday
Thundery showers continue for Spain first thing but these clear to the northeast through the day. Dry, warm and sunny across the rest of the Iberian peninsula. The Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy could see isolated light showers at times. These becoming heavier and more frequent over Italy through the afternoon. Showers, some of them heavy, affecting western and southern Greece and for northern and southern coasts of Turkey.
A mostly dry and fair day for France, the Low Countries and Germany though there will be scattered showers at times for eastern France and southern Germany. A showery day for the Czech Republic, Austria, western Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Some of the showers may be thundery.
A dry and mostly bright day for Denmark. Scattered showers affecting eastern parts of Finland and the the Baltic States first thing. Isolated showers affecting southern parts of Norway and Sweden while a band of heavy rain moves across southern Sweden then into southern Finland and western parts of the Baltics.

Tuesday
A warm, mostly dry and bright day for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands. Early showers clearing from Corsica and Sardinia to leave a warm and fine day here. Heavy showers affecting southern Italy but these clearing to the south through the afternoon. Heavy rain, with some thundery bursts, affecting much of Greece on Tuesday while isolated thundery showers will flare up over southern coastal regions of Turkey.
A dry and fine day for much of western Europe on Tuesday. Variable amounts of cloud mixed with good sunny spells for France, Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A band of showery rain will move southeastward across Poland through the day.
Variable amounts of cloudy and some good sunny spells for Denmark and southern portions of Norway and Sweden. Scattered showers affecting northern regions of Scandinavia. An area of low pressure brings outbreaks of rain and fresh winds to southeastern Sweden, southern Finland and the Baltic States.
