Cold with rain, sleet and snow in Greece and Turkey but drier weather and north


Friday
A fair day in Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. It should be fair through the Balearics as well. Some showers or rain in central and southern parts of Italy. Fog affecting more northern areas. Wind and rain affecting Greece with snow on the hills. Further rain in western Turkey, the risk of snow on the mountains here but fine in central and eastern Turkey.
Fair across much of northern France, Broken cloud to the south and mostly dry as well. Fair conditions continuing in the Low Countries and Germany, although some showers affecting Poland. Breezy for Hungary and Austria with some spots of rain here, fair in Switzerland with sunny spells.
Breezy in Denmark and dry with sunny spells. Broken cloud for the Baltic States and mostly dry here. Finland should be dry although breezy in the west. Breezy for Sweden and dry. Cloud and rain as well as strong winds in Norway, gales in the north.


Saturday
Fair weather across Portugal and Spain today with good spells of sunshine. Rain affecting southern Italy, but dry to the north again with the best of any brightness here. Mofe unsettled for Greece and Turkey with periods of rain and snow, cold here too.
Some cloud and drizzle for northern France but dry and bright in central and southern areas. Cloud and drizzle in the Low Countries and northern Germany too. Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland will be dry with some sunshine.
A band of cloud and rain reaches Denmark in the afternoon. Windy with rain afecting the Baltic States and some sleet in Finland. Damp for southern Sweden although drier to the north. Sleet and snow in northern Norway but drier to the south.
