Summery throughout the Mediterranean

Today
A sunny, hot day to come across Portugal and Spain. A fine summer's day into the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy. Showers are forecast across Belgium, southern Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Switzerland, some heavy with a risk of thunder. A dry day across the Netherlands. Frequent, heavy showers to affect Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Outbreaks of rain are likely across The Baltic States with lots of showers across northern Russia. Most of the Adriatic Region will be warm and dry apart from a few isolated showers. Most of Turkey, Romania and The Ukraine looks dry and fine. Heavy rain and heavy showers are expected across Greece.

Much of Europe will be very warm to hot. For Spain, Portugal and areas eastward through the Balearics into Greece and Turkey it's a fine, summer's day with lots of very warm sunshine to come. Lots of sunshine as well for the Balkans, The Adriatic Region and the Ukraine. Heavy showers with thunderstorms are forecast across The Alps, southern parts of Germany into Austria. A dry day is expected for northern Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Poland. Lots of showers, some heavy with thunder will affect The Baltic States, northern Russia and Finland. Apart from a few showers in the west, expect a dry day across Norway.
