Cold central and southern Europe with snow for some


Saturday
Some rain in northern and eastern Spain, drier to the west with sunny spells in Portugal. Cold with rain in the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy stays chilly with showers, some heavy. Further showers and sunny spells in Greece with Turkey staying cold and wet to the west but drier in the east.
Cold with a band of rain, sleet and snow spreading south throughFrance. Windy and cold with wintry showers in the Low Countries and northern Germany. Drier in southern Germany but staying cold here. Mostly dry and cold in Poland. Wintry showers in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Cold with strong winds and wintry showers in Denmark. Sunny spells and isolated showers affecting the Baltic States. Heavier wintry showers for Finland and staying cold here too. Scattered snow showers for Sweden but more persistent snow showers in Norway.


Sunday
Rain again affecting the north of Spain on Sunday. Fair in Portugal and southern Spain with with sunny spells. Cold with showers in the Balearics. Low pressure brings rain and showers to Italy, snow in northern and central areas. a href="/Greece.htm" TARGET="_top">Greece is wet with heavy rain in the west but drier to the east. Scattered showers in the west, dry in the east.
Rain or snow in the west of France. Cold in the east. The Low Countries will be cold with showers. a href="/Germany.htm" TARGET="_top">Germany will have some snow flurries. The snow flurries continue in northern Italy. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be cold but should be mostly dry.
Drizzle and outbreaks of rain in Denmark. Drizzle and light rain or sleet for the Baltic States. Snow showers in Finland and northern Sweden. Showers for northern and western a href="/Norway.htm" TARGET="_top">Norway, dry to the south.
