Sunny and warm for much of central and southern Europe, but showers to north
Thursday High pressure brings another fine day through Iberia; lots of sunshine here and feeling hot too. The sunshine extending through Italy and into Greece. France is going to have a very warm day with plenty of sunshine to come. It willbe fine throughout the Low Countries where there will be more sunshine. Remaining fine across Germany and Poland with more sunshine to come here. It is going to be staying warm and sunny across Switzerland and Austria too. High pressure in Denmark and Norway brings plenty of sunshine here. Some showers affecting the east of Sweden. The Baltic States will have cloud and showery outbreaks of rain, whilst Finland stays dry with plenty of sunshine.
 Friday A hot and sunny day for Spain and Portugal. Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza will also enjoy the sunshine. Italy should be dry and sunny. Some heavy showers in northern Greece but dry and fine to the south. More sunshine over Turkey and hot here too. A breezy and sunny day in France. It will be feeling very warm, and this warm weather extending to Switzerland, Austria and Hungary. More sunshine in Germany and it will be very warm here, with similar weather in Poland. Cooler with showers in Norway and Sweden, some of them heavy at times. Northern Sweden should be dry and it should be drier in Finland as well. Further heavy showers through Denmark.
