Summery Throughout the Mediterranean

Today
Lots of showers to come today across Britain, northern parts of France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Germany. Some of these may be heavy and thundery. Sunny and warm across southern France today. Rain is forecast for Norway with frequent, heavy showers and thunderstorms across Sweden, Finland and western parts of Russia. Sunny and hot with a few showers across parts of Greece, the Czech Republic, The Ukraine and Hungary. Thundershowers will be found over the Alps. Sunny and very warm across Greece, the former Yugoslavia into Italy, Sardinia, the Balearics, Spain and Portugal. Expect sunshine and heavy afternoon showers across Switzerland, Austria into the far south of Poland. A gusty north wind will prevail through the Aegean Sea.

Monday
A sunny and hot day across Portugal and Spain, and this fine. Sunny and very warm weather will extend eastward across the Balearics, across Corsica and Sardinia and through into Italy and Turkey. More showers develop across the United Kingdom today and also across the northern half of France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. A breezy day of sunny spells and showers Norway and Sweden fall rain and heavy showers are forecast for Finland, western parts of Russia, along with western parts of the Ukraine. Eastern Poland will see a rash of heavy, thundery showers. Eastern parts of the Ukraine down through the Black Sea area, Romania, Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia will be hot, dry and sunny. A scattering of heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast for Switzerland across the Alps into Austria and the Czech Republic. Very warm and sunny across south France a few scattered showers are forecast across Germany along with some good spells. Very windy through the Aegean Sea.
